A Call Championed by Bhuwan Ribhu at CSW70. Now a Global Commitment.

"Today marks the tipping point showing that the end of the crime of child marriage is inevitable and imminent. Now is the time for governments to provide decisive leadership to end child marriage by 2030."

- Bhuwan Ribhu, Founder, Just Rights for Children

Constitutions, many national laws, and the United Nations have all banned child marriage, but it will only be eliminated when every community also takes a stand and when all girls and boys know their rights.

Learn more about child marriage and get involved in our wider campaign for better laws and greater enforcement.

Child Marriage Free World works with partners to end child marriage, community by community.

The 100 Days of Action to End Child Marriage began in 2025 as a global mobilisation in the lead-up to International Women’s Day and the 70th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women. Over 100 days, communities, young people, faith leaders, educators, civil society organisations and survivor-advocates across nearly 100 countries came together to raise awareness, make pledges and advocate for stronger protections for children.
