On Thursday 5th December the Tanzanian Coalition Against Child Labour, in collaboration with stakeholders from Bagamoyo and Dar es Salaam, joined other countries in the world for the 'Child Marriage Free World' campaign.

The event focused on providing education about the dangers of early child marriage, promoting children's rights, and exploring sustainable solutions to eradicate child marriage in Tanzanian society.
The campaign brought together government leaders, including Social Welfare and Community Development Officers, and teachers with other organisations at an event held at Hassanary Damji Secondary School in Bagamoyo, Pwani Region of Tanzania.
This initiative focused on the importance of collective efforts in safeguarding the rights and future of children, especially girls.
