GLOBAL PLEDGING WEEK 2024
Each year, Child Marriage Free World holds a Global Pledging Week to End Child Marriage. We work with schools, communities, and other groups all around the world to raise awareness of child marriage, and encourage people to commit to end this injustice against children.

The first Global Pledging Week took place in December 2024, and events were organised by schools and communities in more than 30 countries.

Alongside the thousands of people who pledged to end child marriage in their communities in 2024, the governments of India and Nepal committed to work to end child marriage in their countries. Child Marriage Free Bharat (India) and Child Marriage Free Nepal are national campaigns which will be delivered by national and regional government organisations working with our civil society partners in both countries.

The next Global Pledging Week will take place in November 2025. However, you don’t have to wait until November to join the campaign! You can take the pledge to end child marriage, and schools and communities can make use of our free resources at any time of year.
